Electrical for new builds in a growing area

Caledonia grew from about 9,700 people in 2016 to more than 12,000 in 2021, and much of that growth is new housing. Whether it's a whole house or a single addition, choices made at rough-in decide where every outlet, light and data line ends up, so it pays to plan them carefully.

We build to your drawings and keep pace with the framers, plumbers and drywallers so the electrical never holds up the job.

What's included

Service entrance

Meter base, main panel and service connection, arranged with the local utility.

Rough wiring

Boxes, cable runs and home runs for every circuit while the studs are bare.

Trim-out

Outlets, switches, fixtures, pot lights and smart controls once the walls are finished.

Outbuildings

Subpanels feeding detached garages, workshops and sheds.

New Construction Wiring in Caledonia: Working With Your Build

  1. We study the plans and lay out the electrical with you or your builder.
  2. A written quote follows, and we open the ESA permit.
  3. Temporary power is set up, then the permanent service once the structure is ready.
  4. All rough wiring is installed and passes ESA inspection before insulation.
  5. After drywall, we trim out and book the final ESA inspection.

Expecting an EV down the road? A rough-in costs far less now than later. See EV charger installation or our electrician for Caledonia homes home page.

How Much Does New Construction Wiring Cost?

We price new construction from the drawings. The main drivers are square footage, service size, how many circuits, fixtures and devices are planned, and add-ons such as EV rough-ins, generator transfer switches or smart home wiring.
